The Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB) will celebrate the official opening of the Child Care Centre and EarlyON Child and Family Centre at River Heights Public School on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 12:30 p.m.

The invitation-only celebration will include student performances as well as greetings from Middlesex County Trustees Arlene Morell and Christian Sachs, Middlesex Warden Cathy Burghardt-Jesson, TVDSB Director of Education Mark Fisher, Director of River Heights Child Care Centre, Melissa Arding and River Heights Public School Principal Bev Bolton.

The Child Care Centre, operated by London Bridge Child Care Services, provides licensed care for 10 infants, 30 toddlers and 72 preschoolers. The EarlyON Child and Family Centre, operated by Middlesex County Library Services, offers families programs and services that promote early learning and development and provides referrals to specialized services.

Thames Valley received approval from the Ministry of Education to tender the $8.4 million project in July of 2023. Thames Valley is grateful for the support of the Ministry of Education and collaboration with the City of London and County of Middlesex.
